WordPress is a great platform for most professional websites. I got into web development for coding, I think it’s a really cool skill and it’s challenging. Not to mention how satisfying it is when all the different coloured code in the editor combines to make a fully functional site. WordPress does a lot of this out of the box however……
So, what’s the verdict? Is WordPress capable of creating a professional website?
Here are a few points to consider:
1. WordPress is easy to use, incredibly easy. Even if you’re not particularly nerdy, you should be able to figure out how to use WordPress on the fly without too much trouble. The platform is intuitive and user-friendly, so you won’t spend a lot of time learning how to use it.
2. WordPress is versatile. As mentioned above, one of the biggest advantages of WordPress is its versatility. You can use it to create any kind of website, from a simple blog to a complex e-commerce site.
3. WordPress is well-supported. Being such a popular platform, there’s a huge community of users and developers who are always making new plugins and themes to extend its functionality. That’s probably one of the most re-assuring things about WordPress: whatever your need, problem or obstacle is – there will almost definitely be a forum answer or a plugin to solve it.
4. WordPress is affordable. While some website platforms can be quite expensive, WordPress is pretty affordable. Hosting plans are cheap and we offer full hosted care packages that mean we ensure the best performance of your site whilst also monitoring software updates, malware scans and lots of other nerdy things that you don’t want to stress over. Our plans give you peace of mind so you can focus on the business without stressing over things you’ve only learnt about because they’ve broken.
So, is WordPress a good platform for building a professional website? We think the answer is yes! WordPress is easy to use, versatile, well-supported, and affordable – everything you need to create a successful website.
